If you are going to overclock I would suggest that you get a aftermarket cooler
Next week ATI/AMD are dropping the prices of there 4800 range by as much as $50, the 4870 will drop by $50 and the 4850 will drop to $129, so maybe you might consider getting the 4870

RAM is expensive as hell!

PSU is pretty mediocre, try a Corsair or PC P&C.

$200 for a 4850 is too much.

900 is a terrible case, try the Centurion 5 or Coolermaster 690.

HDD is okay but you can probably get a 7200.12 or 640GB WD for not much more.

Rest looks fine. If stuff is really expensive even with shipping it's usually cheaper with NewEgg. CPU cooler is "nice" but optional - if you're ordering it off NewEgg and can get the backplate too, sure, if not don't worry about it.

Will play Crysis on high/very high, everything else maxed out.

Ok thank you very much for all the help, i`ll probably switch the HDD to the 640gb and look around so when they drop the prices on those graphics cards i can get one. Also about buying from newegg i just feel that sence its my first time making a computer it would be best to go with a local store so if i have problems i can just go there instead of having to ship them back and wait another week or so, i kno the prices are a bit more but after shiping and handling its about the same i think.

I was going to suggest Newegg as well for you, but I used fry's for the same reason as you, there is a brick and mortar store close to my house if I had problems. However, if I had it to do again, I would have used Newegg because they are reliable.

109 is WAY high for the 900. I got one a year ago at fry's for 60 bucks. Also, if I had it to do over again I would use a different case. The wires from the on/off switch, restarts, ect..... are way short and barely reach to where I needed to connect them to my motherboard. The way it is set up is bad for cable management and that affects the air flow. I was happy at first, but that was because it was my first build (like you lol) and I didn't know any better.

If you are thinking of over clocking, then get the 2 year warranty from fry's on the MoBo and Processor. At about 22 month's lol overclock it til you burn them out and they will give you the dollar value you spent, not just the same stuff you bought 2 years earlier. LOL The Fry's manager told me that.

Nah, nobody breaks a processor overclocking unless they are really dumb and set vcore to an insane amount. If you were running a E8500 at 1.45v, sure, but for most people it's not worth it.

I would buy parts not likely to DOA on NewEgg then buy the motherboard, case, etc at Fry's.

lol thanks for the advice about the MoBo and Processor, also about the 900 what would u have in mind thats around the same price that would have better airflow. Also im thinking about overclocking it, and other than the case do u kno a good cpu cooler or anything else i should kno about before i OC it?

Airflow doesn't matter. CM 690 is your best bet.

Xigmatek with the backplate & the Sunbeam Core Contact are really the only ones you should look at.
