All i did was switch cases. when i press the start up button everything turns on, but the monitor just goes back and forth with "no siganal" and then blank as if it had a siganal. the hard drive lights are active. im almost positive i didnt screw up the wireing. what should i do?

Not to be rude CP but "almost positive" doesn't cut it.

Re-check your wiring, specifically the the dvi/vga cable.

All standoff's in?

the monitor is fine. i have rechecked for 3-4 hours now. I'm sure that i have everything plugged in the right spot. i don't see anything that could be cosing this.

Also, can you confirm the gpu is seated correctly in the pci-e port and the 6-pin is connected properly?

no beeping noise. and the GPU is in perfectly as well as the 6 pin that goes to the GPU.

It's possible the mobo wasn't fitted properly and is shorting on the case.

ALEX YOUR A GENIUS!!! LOL XD!!! when you said the GPU might not be in all the way i though, hmm.... and i ran to the computer, got the head lamp and took a good look, and saw the last inch of the card was not in all the way. and it worked! I'M SO HAPPY!!! my temps are down 20*C in every component. TY!!!
