Default Help needed

Need help not very good with computers, Q1 can i join 2 comps together 1 on xp other on xp pro. saves using 2 screens. Q2 on my comp with xp pro i do not get any sound, there is no adjustment in audio . please help

Default Help needed

The problem is i had trouble with my own restore disk as in it would not bring up start bar after re-install. I have tried restore discs from another make. it has worked but no sound, so do i download for make of comp which is emachines or dell software? sorry to be a pain
