Smile Help Please.

l was wondering if some kind person has any knowledge on how too convert vcr tapes into dvd.ie what l will need ect.l was hoping to do it through my computer,so l then can edit ect.

Thanks,but l erm got lost reading that Blackmirror.l was hoping there was some sort of device,that l could plug into my Cam corder then into my computer,and hey presto.Maybe not Hey presto,but you get the idea.

I see where you're going with that Wizz.

I do it all the time, you should have go the cables with your camcorder. Either a USB (1 or 2) out, or a combined aux out, video out (white, red and yellow phono connectors).

If you've got the phone lead you'll need the corresponding ports on a pci or other card connected on the pc.

Yes Blackmirror l found the thread informative.I have all the leads to my VCR camcorder,but alas l have know usb cable to go into computer.

Erm,sorry dont mean to sound thick!!!!!! l dont have round holes in my computer,only usb ports,and oblong holes for pins to go in.Ohhhh god this hard work.So l suppose that means l must have,RCA sockets,as the phono must be little round holes.
