The newer 9xxx cards are dual-GPU, so it's almost like running a SLI all in one card.

What PSU you getting?
i thought the mobo was a DDR3 ?. i copy and pasted this from the spec's : Dual-Channel DDR3 1800(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066/800
The motherboard supports DDR3 memory that features data transfer rates of 1800(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066/800 MHz to meet the higher bandwidth requirements of the latest operation system, 3D graphics, multimedia, and Internet applications. The dual-channel DDR3 architecture doubles the bandwidth of your system memory to boost system performance, eliminating bottlenecks with peak bandwidths of up to 17 GB/s. Furthermore, the supply voltage for the memory is reduced from 1.8 V for DDR2 to just 1.5 V for DDR3. This voltage reduction limits the power consumption and heat generation of DDR3 which makes it an ideal memory solution.

from what iv read it only takes DDR3. iv not really made my mind up about the PSU but i was thinking about the THERMALTAKE Toughpower 750 Watt ATX PSU, do you think that will be enough for a 9800 GX2 or HD 3870X2 ?

yeah i was thinking of 2gig but im getting vista 64 bit and on most games now the recommended ram is 2gig so im thinking of getting 4gigthe mobo im getting only takes DDR3, i was thinking of OCZ ReaperX HPC Extended Bandwidth "gig 1333mhz the latency is ok at 6-5-5-18 but i dont know if they will run ok on the board. last time i spent shed loads on some OCZ DDR2 2gig and my PC kept crashing (memory dumping) then i half the price on some no named ram and they work better than the OCZ and aint crashed once.
