ok. i dunno if this belongs here but im gone cleptop nerd trying too fix my comp.

last night i got sick of my pc seizing up during cod. so i done some research, then realised it was my realtek drivers.

and while updating the drivers, i also updated it too asustek express gate, like a lidl mini os.

but anyway, i updated my asus p5q, resarted it, and big shock!

windows 7 wont load. ive tried everything. anythime i try repair or reinstall windows 7 it stops halfway. same with ubuntu, gets too installk screnn then totally seizes.

i tried removing the mb battery too erase rom settings twic1!, but no luck.

im realy stuck here, my os's wont install and i cant wipe anything on the hd.

im sorry for the rushed post, but im late for work. ill be checking this post when i get back.

if ur a power hungry mod and this is in the wrong thread. please have the heart too move it instead of closing it down completely, i cant wait ages for a response at 10 tonight.

help me gurus!

Try booting with the W7 disk and see if you can do a System Repair or System Restore.
You may need to go into bios to make the CD/DVD Drive your 1st boot device, if not already.

You could try setting the HDD to "SATA" in the BIOS I am unsure wherabouts it would be though.

Reset your memory timings and voltage to what they're rated for in the BIOS.

Yep .... and if no better, try using just one stick of Ram (assuming 2 or more) as it could be faulty Ram.
