This is the computer I'm considering buying. It's $550 US. I only have a basic knowledge of computer hardware but it seemed a good deal to me. Its got a Athlon 64 X2 5000 2.6 GHz processor and a 500 GB hard drive. The graphics are "NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics with TurboCache with 128MB dedicated graphics memory. Up to 831MB Total Available Graphics Memory as allocated by Windows Vista"

Is this truly a good deal? I am looking for a computer that can play a good number of games, although not necessarily at full quality or games like Crysis.

Thanks for the help.

The price for the spec is very good.

But you're not going to be able to game on it. The graphics solution is of the integrated variety, and only DX9.

Look for a laptop with a dedicated gpu. Asus do a gaming range that is very good value for money considering the spec, can't remember of the top of my head the model numbers.
