Ok, joking aside, I would start by removing the side of the case and cleaning all fans of dust using a small paintbrush.

This is likely to be related to overheating.

Obviously if the fans don't spin when the PC is switched on that will be another issue.

If it's a separate, external, externally powered modem it will say/do that.

Your problem appears to be the fact the pc is shutting down after a certain amount of time.

This is usually caused by heat build up.

Are the fans/motherboard etc free of dust?
Do you have any fans aside from the one cooling the cpu?
Just to confirm what I'm saying are you able to give me the cpu's temperature by logging on again?

Download speedfan Click this

Load it up onto your system and let me know the cpu, system and hd temps.

Take the temp readings straight after boot up. Then leave the pc for 15 minutes and take the readings again. Post back with the results.

Me too fella.

Fiker: I had to read your initial post 4 times before I understood it fully. Can you please post giving full words, not in text speak.

Things can be lost in translation and considering the complicated things that computer's are it could result in someone either not being able to resolve your problem, or making it worse.

Inside the PC will be a fan, they get dirty and don't cool the CPU properly.

Have you opened the case, I'm sure when you do you'll know what we mean.

Your choice Fiker.

But it all depends on whether or not you feel confident enough on any answers we may give you.

Post back the temps and we'll take it from there. It may just need cleaning or it may be something else. In which case you might need to take it to get repaired should you not feel you can do it yourself.

Speedfan can be conservative on temps, considering its only software.

A celeron D (which you have) shouldn't run at 65c when idle. Regardless of whether or not it's crashing you need to do something about those temps.

As Dave stated open the case (there should be screws on the rear) and pull the side panels off. Get a 1" paintbrush (new!) and a can of compressed air.

Use the air on the cooler for the cpu (keep it about 6" away) then wipe off any residue dust with the paint brush.

Also use the paintbrush on the rest of the case. Very gently though.

I'm leaning toward the temp being the cause considering the pc boots up normally and runs normally for a specified amount of time, plus, again, 65c at idle is hot.

Yeah, clean out the pc and then boot up again and do the same test with speedfan and let us know how it goes.

If you can't wait to purchase the air and/or the paintbrush don't whatever you do use a vacuum cleaner on the pc as some people may suggest you do.
