did it work before you installed sp3?

did you reinstall the drivers after you installed sp3?

Check with Logitec for any issues in running your mouse under SP3. I had XP-SP2 running on my laptop for over a year without any problems. When I downloaded an installed SP3, I couldn't get my soundcard to work anymore. Since SP3 is still fairly ew I would expect there to be problems with certain hardware.

Un-install the drivers of your mouse and re-install them again to see if this solves the problem. If not un-install SP3 and install SP2 instead. If your mouse is working then, at least you know there is no hardware problem. You could try SP3 again afterwards to see what happens.

Cheers:
Chris
