one out plus see pictures on how to? and its a amd duron tower and the other is a compaq presario tower

Are you sure that both have add on sound cards and not integrated sound? Changing a sound card is simple enough for a set of instructions to suffice.

I don't understand the problem. If you don't know how to swap hardware around really be careful.

Unplug the PC from the mains, for safety flick the switch on the PSU to off.

Unscrew the single screw holding the card in and pull it out, making sure you've earthed yourself on he case to avoid static electrictiy.

Place the new card in the slot, making sure it's the right way around and push in untill it holds on it's own. Screw it back in and turn on the PC.
