Default I need help finding an internal memeory flash card reader help

I bought a rather ecpensive computer last Christmas and it came with a flash card reader built in.

I just tried to use it to rad a SanDisk (512mb) card. It doesn't fit! I just assumed that when I ordered a multi-flashcard reader it would at least read a SanDisk card.

Can anyone point me in a direction where I can buy a multicard reader that can read "all" flashcards, or at least 9 or 10 including the SanDisk and my XD cards?

Did you try turning the card upside down and fitting it in?

It's a multicard reader (MS/SD/MMC/CF/MD and SM) I tried all slots and it doesn't fit. I'm thinking they "cheaped out" on the card reader when I had the pc built.

It's a flashcard (1"x 1.25" roughly) - one of the larger ones.

That is a card that any multi reader should take.

There has to be something that is being overlooked. What model of PC is it?

The card reader is built into the front of the tower and the only slot anywhere near the size to be able to accept the SanDisk is the one that has CF/MD written above it, all the other slots (3 of them) are too small.

In post #3, you said the reader could read .... "quote : (MS/SD/MMC/CF/MD and SM)"

The Card I posted is CF (Compact Flash) card and the card you identified from evilfantasy's links, is an SD Card .... both of these are readable by your reader.

As it cant be both types, are you sure you have identified the correct card and if so, have another look at the reader, it might be labled MMC or SD/MMC and try the card upside down.
