Default ill clean this from now on as well

yesterday guys i cleaned out my pc, hard drives, optical drives, graphics card, ram, sound card all taken out and cleaned, filters on the fans cleaned, cpu fan cleaned, even the floppy, everything cleaned, fitted it all back turned it on worked fine until i tried to turn it on this morning NOTHING damn i thought somethings come loose so re-checked everything twice couldnt find a thing loose or missing. tried again NOTHING damn thing given up on me, pulled out all the leads not required from the psu turned it on and it flickered but then died, changed psu with kids one and hey presto it worked BRILL but the psu not powerful enough so had to get a new one,
i tell u pc world is a rip off the amount they charge!!!!

But main point of this is i opened up my old psu, easier than i thought, but OH MY GOD the amount of dust in it
no wonder it gave up prob over heated and its the one component i have never cleaned but will be from now
DO YOU GUYS clean out your psu with the other components or is it something you lot also overlook?

also, for cleaning pins, 80% or more rubbing alcohol on a cue tip will clean those very nicely.

not sure. what the diff between them? all i know is that rubbing alcohol 80% and up is good for cleaning parts like that. been using it for that purpose for over 3 years. worked for me, but never really thought to check that. till now didn't know there were 2 types. :P

Isopropyl = rubbing alcohol.

Do NOT use ethanol, lol.
