| My computer had a new motherboard fitted with an integrated graphics card about a year ago. I have a broadband connection, averaging a speed of 1500kbs. Recently sections of the screen refresh at different times. Even scrolling text, it appears that the screen is split into 4 or 5 vertical strips which refresh independently. Can anyone offer any advice please? Just to add to the confusion, the system worked perfectly last night for about an hour !!! |

| Thanks for your advice. I tried the system with an old CRT monitor but still get the same problems. As I've had the computer for over 4 years, I think I shall be looking for a new basic computer in the January sales!! Can anyone recommend a reliable inexpensive supplier? Ian |
