XP has gone wrong by the looks of things. Just a glitch in the install, happens too often in XP
Use a CD to repair the bootloader or a simple system restore might do the trick and you're good to go |

Well i don't know how to do a system restore, i can't go onto desktop.
I put in the XP CD and clicked on repair. If i type in "HELP" in the cmd, it comes up with many options, none that say systemrestore, a lot of them also want a admin password, but there is no admin password for the computer. So i am not sure what to do, what option to click or something. |

Repair probably wouldn't work. Start up in safe mode, then do a system restore. (Start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore)
Try that and tell us how it goes! |
