Well i read after i bought these two for the build that the bios needed to be updated to run the processor. It kinda scares me that i won't be able to do that without another processor to boot up with first.

should i stop worrying, or am i royally screwed?

Download the BIOS update now, stick it on a flash drive, then do your build and update it then.

so the processor will work even without the update, so i can actually flash the mo-bo?

seems odd to me.
