I have a emachines 620 which is now 4 years old. I'm just wondering how long in years do these PCs last? Reply soon please.

If treated well, it will last you another 10, well if you plan on emailing and the likes only

Personally, I'd be looking to upgrade in another year.

Like social said, it SHOULD last another 10 years or so, although the fans will need a good clean afte that amount of time.

I've got a p133 in the garage that is still running must be 12 or more years old,still does what I need in there.

I do a bit of rallying and have 3 cars, it's easier and cleaner to have the spec , mods , service history etc on the PC than on paper+ I can play MP3 while I'm working in the garage. The old 133 is a robust old girl and doesn't seem to mind the cold/heat, oil etc, though I do go through a few monitors, but as there always seem to be a few available for free on Freecycle what the hell.
