Default Keyboard attacked by beer!

Hello all!

So I made the mistake of spilling beer all over the keyboard...immediately I turned it off and tried to clean it. I took q tips and tried to get it all off in all the edges and stuff. Maybe a bad idea. When I turn on now, only half the keys work.

Big problem is, my comp is a laptop. Can I dissemble it to fix?

Please help! I had to type this with on-screen keyboard So have any ideas?

sounds knackered to me i don't know many fixes after a spill

personally if i had my laptop on a desk id attach a usb keyboard as weird as it would look

usual with drinks like pop n beer they kill the keyboard when it dries as it gets horribly sticky, and in the case of beer, will stink of vinegar

from my experience i don't think theres a fix mate, someone here may prove me wrong however

Default Keyboard attacked by beer!

ok so i went to the store and got a computer toolkit, multitool, compressed air and cleaning solution....it took me forever to dismantle my laptop enough to get at the keyboard, seeming as ive never did anything like this before. sure enough there was beer all over inside of there...so i cleaned it and everything, managed to put it all bac ktogether fine, et no luck with it....DAMN! but i also luckily bought a spare keyboard at the store too....good thing. so essentially i have a desktop now that looks like a laptop. Great!

Thanks :)
