Can you not use a Mouse USB to PS/2 Adapter?

I've seen a few with USB, but they seem to be rather expensive!!!

you know the cable for kvm switches that carry the dvi/audio/mouse/keyboard, does the video/sound quality degrade as it goes thru the box to your speakers/monitor

In theory yes it must do, as every cable has a resistance, though its very very very very small usually. But in practice, I very much doubt you'll notice the difference.

It'll be the box itself that will cause any degradation in quality, if any. Just depends how good the electrics are!

And Belkin is good! Just a bit expensive
