| I have a Dell laptop, which is fine when plugged into the mains, but when I run it on a fully charged battery, the screen is really dark - any ideas why, or how I get it to be brighter (its fine when its run on the mains) thanks |

| i haven't got mine with me, but i think there is a power managment setting somewhere to set the backlight as always at its brightest. Look at Control Panel -> power options. Also try fn + up arrow to increase brightness. Last edited by mr_miller : 28th May 2007 at 10:24 PM. |
