Hello guys, I'm a stopmotion animator in need of using two USB extenders to reach where I'd need to animate, would using 1 or more extenders make me loose quality? Would generic USBs matter? And in case if it's matters, I use a HD webcam. Please help.

Shouldn't make any difference ...... providing they are good quality cables.

No problem really, as phil said.

I'd avoid generic ones though. Likelihood is you'd end up with some terribly oxygenated wires, or just generally bad - and that would affect it. Just get something that's made by a decent company, I use Pro Signal for all my Audio cabling, and a mix of Pro Signal and Bandbridge for Video stuff - they're both good companies, not sure if they do USB kit though. USB is digital. Digital signals don't lose quality, they either work or they don't/have massive artifacting.
