| All you can really do is buy some quieter fans, though most of the noise will be from your PSU, so just shop around for one that is known to be quiet, and get one that has a controler so it only spins at the speed the PSU knows it needs. |

| Hi imnotageek You can purchase quiet / silent fans but it is important (from a noise point of view) as to how the fan is mounted, with most case fans rubber noise / vibration suppressors are supplied and if used work very well. CPU stock fans can be noisy as not the best fan is used by the manufactures with a view to keeping costs down, depending on your Motherboard socket / your present fan - heat sink assembly you may be able to just purchase a new fan or you may need to purchase the whole assembly, i use a Scythe Infinity CPU cooler on a Q6600, very quiet |
