Default Maybe a hardware problem?

Well I just got a new Case, Mobo, PSU, CD/DVD drive..
im using my old videocard, HD, RAM, floppydrive...

2.4 ghz
1gb ddrpc266
radeon 9800 pro 128

now im having trouble whenever I go to play certain games
so far I know my computer will completely crash when I try and open warcraft 3 or halo, diablo2 works fine.. lol..

I have windows XP sp2 fresh reformatt(twice cuz it crashed before and still doin it so i think its hardware related)

i did a benchmark test that came with my drivers
my results are a score of 2382 vidcard clocked at 378/337

i scored right below a X1600XT AMD 2.5 (581/684)----2671
then me with a score of 2382
then i scored right above a X1600PRO AMD64 2.3 (500/387)----1786

i think the reason for the crashes is due to having a bad sector on my HD? any advice?

Go to Start, All Programs, Accesories, Command Prompt and type;

chkdsk c:

Type this exactly like I have put above.

CHKDSK is verifying security descriptors <stage 3 of 3>...
security descriptor verification completed.
correcting errors in the volume bitmap.
windows found problems with the file system.
Run CHKDSK with the /f <fix> option to correct these.

0 kb in bad sectors.

...? -.-

I just ran a Check Disk (chkdsk) and this is what it came back with, look at it carefully.

Alright, I ran chkdsk c:/f again, restarted.

when it restarted it went thru the files, indexes and descriptors just fine with no errors, it looked just like the screenshot you posted and told me to take a good look at. the only difference is mine was infront of a blue screen at startup and not on my cmd...
although it only gave me about 3 seconds to look at it, it looked just like yours. what now?

Get Avast from our Downloads section, install it and allow it to do a system scan on reboot.

Obtain Commodo for the firewall, this will turn off the Windows firewall which is good for protection against inbound traffic only.

Get Spybot and AdAware after this, get all updates and run them.

Then get back to us.
