Alright, I ran chkdsk c:/f again, restarted.

when it restarted it went thru the files, indexes and descriptors just fine with no errors, it looked just like the screenshot you posted and told me to take a good look at. the only difference is mine was infront of a blue screen at startup and not on my cmd...
although it only gave me about 3 seconds to look at it, it looked just like yours. what now?

Get Avast from our Downloads section, install it and allow it to do a system scan on reboot.

Obtain Commodo for the firewall, this will turn off the Windows firewall which is good for protection against inbound traffic only.

Get Spybot and AdAware after this, get all updates and run them.

Then get back to us.

Steve mate trust me we have a tech guy who knows graphics cards backwards and it may well be that yours can't hack it, I don't have a clue about that side.

im running
2.4ghz
1gb of ddr ram
and the 9800 pro 128
ive played wc3 just fine before
hell ive played doom3,f.e.a.r,WoW, granted the settings werent very high on everything and AA AF by 8x but i could still play all those games with over 60 fps set to certain settings, i talked to a friend of mine he said to install a more graphics intense game and see if it works.
so im downloading the doom3 demo right now gonna set it up and see what happens
