I needed a gaming rig that can actually play games, unlike my current crappy hp slimline, so im close to getting the 1k mark

**Mobo - G-B EP45T-UD3LR - 172$
**Ram - 4GB Kit(2x2G)DDR2 1066 Kingston - 89$
**PSU + Case - Thermaltake V9 +Coolermaster Extreme Power+ 600W. = 99$ + 125$
**VGA -512M 4850 Gigabyte - 189$
**DVD : Pioneer 217 - 37$
**HDD : WD"AV" SATA 640G - 91$
**Processor : E7500 2.93 gHZ - 197$

so, do you think this build will be good enough to play some good games? like crysis?

also i need an os, but the rig needs to be under 1.1k

soo..

should i install windows 7 on it? or buy OEM 64bit Home premium for 183$

if thats the case, i need to downgrade some parts

also, i live in australia, so prices will probably differ

First off, click on our name and look at my pc's stats! I built it for around 1100.00. BUT your going to have to break links with your current supplier as there are many other places to buy your parts cheaper!

Read Carbon's Computer Part's Guide #4 in the General hardware Section.

At the bottom he lists the best parts for different budgets, and apart from where it states otherwise, it's pretty much based around gaming.
