Default mobile phone problem but involves computer

not quite sure which section to put this. need to read whole thing to understand

my mobile phone which is a sony ericson 850 has gone funny. it automaticly logs into the programs by itself. it will automaticly log into message and send blank messages to the first person on my phone book. i cant access my phone phone book because it keeps sending messages. it has gone funny.

i got a list of new phone numbers that i need

it is a software problem. went to t-mobile and told them i cant access the phone memory. they couldnt access it themselve and said i need to repair it. they will do it for free. if i repair it i will lose all the info in my phone book. he said i should be able to store the phone book on my computer. he said i need blue tooth but i dont think i have it.

is what he saying to be true and if i dont have blue tooth what can i do?

he also said even though the phone has gone funny the compute can still read the momery on the phone. all numbers are stored on my phone, not sim card

i am a newbie

wheres all the contacts saved? sim or the phone?

if its sim then get a sim card usb reader, if its phone, then try a usb blue tooth dongle and try and access the contacts from the computer, ive never tried that though

hi m8
what the bloke probably meant was that if you have b/tooth on your phone and its switched on,
then from your pc ( if it has b/tooth as well or a b/tooth adapter ) you can remotely go into your fone and remove the files/fone nos you want from it

didn't realize you had a sony eric

the CD that came with the phone, on there, there should be a sync manger software, use that to copy your contacts, easy

that is if you got your bluetooth connection on ur phone, on, and a bluetooth connection on your computer

i done it. i did a search on google.

http://www.knowyourmobile.com/sonyer...d_to_a_pc.html

this is what the link said.
Inside your W850i box, you’ll find a CD with the Sony Ericsson PC Suite software installer. Insert this into your PC to begin installation. If you don’t have the CD you can also download the software directly from the Sony Ericsson website.

you have to type this in google or you wont find it. (sony ericsson pc suite software installer). if you try software you will not find it. here it is

http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/corp...ite310700aeexe

i didnt use blue tooth and it read the memory of my phone.

thanks every one
