Default Mobo switch problem

Hey,
I have recently switched a few parts (graphics card, CD drive, HD, and Floppy Disk Drive) onto another mobo, and when i turn it on, the HD starts to spin normally, but the CPU fan doesnt start and there is nothing that appears on the screen. Note that it did boot once and i switched the main graphic output to the AGP card.

Here are the before/after specs:
CPU: Intel p4 1.7ghz -> Intel p4 2.1ghz
Mobo: HP p4 pc-133 -> IBM p4 DDR
HD: Maxtor 40gb -> Maxtor 40gb
GPU: nVidia GeForce2 256mb -> same
PSU: 250v -> 250v

Any help is strongly appreciated

Sounds like a lack of power. A new PSU should do it =)

Agreed, assuming it is all wired up correct sounds like a dodgy PSU.

Default Mobo switch problem

URGENT UPDATE:
Hey i tried it with some different hardware (sadly i had to rip the Deathstar apart ) and now i have a picture but it now continually tries to restart the startup process and the keyboard doesnt respond... I have tried resetting the BIOS both ways (Jumper and battery removal) and it still doesnt work.

There is also a flash of that most hated Blue Screen before it retries...
Any help with this new problem is greatly appreciated

Still sounds like a power shortage have you got a new power supply? If so, is it brand name? Cheap ones are more likely to break..
