I've installed my motherboard, graphics card, HD and PSU. Switched it on, it powers up but I am getting no signal on my monitor when it is plugged into either my graphics card or the connection on the motherboard. Monitor was working fine this morning before I upgraded system.

My new system is

MSI MS-7366 motherboard
Intel Dual Core E7400
Thermaltake Toughpower 750W cable management PSU
PALIT GeForce 9500GT SLI 512MB GDDR2

Any help appreciated.

ADDITIONAL> My motherboard has a 2x2 pin 12v ATX slot but my PSU has no cable for this. Does it need one?

You mean it has 8 pins (you can run with 4 pin fine) or just a 4 pin? It's highly unlikely you don't have a 4 pin cable.

Bummer :( well i do own that MS 7366 too, have it running here atm, and one thing that was funny with mines, is that when i tried to add an exhaust fan , by plugging it into the the 3 pin sys fan connector, My computer wouldnt show a signal .

Have you got any extra fans running from that 3 pin ? The one to the lower right side of the ram modules

Maybe also try using the other DVI connector on the gfx card and try running the computer without the gfx card too
