Hi,
I have a PC with Windows 98 and a Pentium 2 processor, and have used the monitor for the past few years. I suddenly stopped working so I disconnected it and left it for a few hours, and then reconnected it and it worked fine for over a week, until now. When I connect the monitor to the PC nothing shows, though the PC starts fine What could be wrong? |

So the monitor and PC power on but you get nothing on screen?

Errrr, I am wondering if the computer works on another monitor or of the monitor works on another computer. Find out which part is faulty first!

What happened was the computer would not connect to the monitor, so I cleaned both ends of the monitor cable and rebooted and all was well.
The PC worked fine for 2 weeks but all of a sudden it did not boot up, so I tried what I did before but this time the PC did not boot |

I will borrow a monitor from a friend and see if it is the monitor or the PC itself

CRT or LCD?
If you don't understand - is it a huge ass thing that goes back a mile, or is it relatively non-depth-existent?
