Cheapest I've seen is £14.99 which is a bargain .. http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=338660
Haha thats exactly the same place I got mine.
I've used this pad for six days now, and it is extremely smooth for gaming and everyday work. Using the Logitech Wireless Optical mouse, it didn't skip a beat. I used it for everyday work and gaming online, and it did what it was supposed to do - and then some.
Taken from This Review. He has nothing but good things to say about it,as do I.

Nice, I don't usually use the komplett website but it's the cheapest place I can get it from.

Read the review, the mouse he's talking about is the exact same on i'm using - just a different coloured fascia.

Cheers for that matey, looks like i'll be getting a glass desk after all, no doubt i'll be posting opinions of it on here soon.

Well, you can add another person to the list of people who got nothing but good feedback on that mousemat Gazmondo. And guess where I got mine from... .

I'm using it with an optical mouse and it works fine. £15 seemed a lot for a mouse mat to me, but because I alreay gone for high quality parts for the rest of my PC, I didn't want to slap a cheap mouse mat on my desk. Got this one because it fitted in with the blue led theme I was going for and I have to say:... it was £15 well spend.

Glass desks are awesome, I've had one and i added a few leds here and there and it looked so cool in the dark, but as cew said they get really cold , Also why not try your mouse on some glass like your window or something and if you have your heart set on a glass desk could you use something like a big sticker in place of a mouse mat? id use a L plate sticker just for the crack of it.
