Hi everyone.
I'm having trouble with my mouse. (I'm on a different computer because I can barely use mine.) I can do everything with the mouse except for left click. I clean it, unplugged it and plugged it back in, but I'm still having the same problem. Is there anyway I can fix it? I'd rather do that then buy another. I'd hate to think that maybe something slipped inside that I could just put back in place. |

Mice are so cheap these days you would just buy a new one.

Yeah, by borrowing one you know if the USB slot actually works, and you will find out that your mouse is actually broken. Also try using your mouse into someone elses computer and see if that works. If not you can find them cheap on the internet.

Have you checked in your control panel to make sure somebody has not set that mouse to act a certain way? I'm using Windows XP with a wheel button mouse and I know on my mouse I can switch the clicks around and also use the wheel as a clicker if I set that in the options at the control panel.
The computers at the library have right clicks disabled so that you can't do a lot of exploring, in fact, you can barely function! Bill Gates donated them to the library and we get to use them for free, so I'm not really trying to complain. |

Thanks for the replies. I know the mouse settings weren't changed because the left click just stopped working while I was using it. I'll just go get another one today. It's a real pain trying to navigate the Internet without it. I did learn a few shortcut codes on my keyboard that might come in handy later though.
