Default My computer starts about 10-15 min to load up

Hi there,
I am having a serious problem here. I really need help. The starting screen that i usually on my computer is this intel screen. Is this probably the loading up of the hardware etc? It freezes for very long.

Then it takes very very long to load up the operating system like the windows xp screen bar is there forever moving right to left, left to right. Even though eventually the computer would start up but that is like only after 10-15 min time with a lot of pauses in between.

I checked with avg free edition....no viruses detected. I would try more with spybot and ad-aware later and even panda online scan....hopefully can solve the serious startup lagging problem.....but i really really hope it is not hardware problem cos my computer is really quite new like 1 year plus. Is there any convenient good program that i can check anything wrong with any part of my hardware because the intial intel screen freezes for very very long when i start my computer. Besides, once it stated this corrupted file thing in the system32 starting with n......maybe it is the cause.....if so, how can i fix it?? really need a lot of help ....and thanks for all the help all the while!

Sounds like you definitely have some sort of problem. I would consider downloading a few of programs, get them installed then I'd go from there.

Get CCleaner, update it then run it. Use the registry fix tool in CCleaner to clean your registry aswell.

Also, get QuickStartup. Install this then have a look at all the programs that run at windows startup. You can probably cancel over 70% of these programs.

As for the wait on the intel screen im not really sure. Does it make any beeping noises during this stall?
