| Not necessarily. Most likely it means that either no one is connect to your modem wirelessly right now, or it's been turned off in the config file.Easy way to find out is to do this.Click on STARTClick on RUNtype in CMDHit Enter. When the black command window comes up, type ipconfigthen hit enter.a number will come up under the default gateway.write that number down. Now, open an internet explorer window and type that number in the address bar. That should take you to the admin section of your router where you can check to see if it's turned on.WARNING.Be careful in there. If you don't know what you're doing, you can mess up your internet.Good Luck! |

| you got to call AT & T and ask how can you turn on the wireless connection. dont tell them that u are connecting another computer if they do ask jus say i need to connect the laptop for one or two days.they should give u the IP number where u can go and turn it on and then that green light should come on. |
