Ah, apologies. Mind you i'd be surprised if the stock hsf (with decent air cooling in the case) couldn't hold the cpu at that speed.

Regardless, if it was me i'd be looking at the EE (Energy Efficient) version of the AMD chip anyway. Don't think it starts at the 4800, but rather the 5000. Less voltage, less heat supposedly. I ain't so sure myself but the proofs in the pudding.

woah. some great advice there guys. i would of been in a bit of a pickle if i didnt post. thanks but im still saving away. i got £320 now. need £170.. wish me luck:)
