Hope everything goes to plan.

You could have probably squeezed a slightly higher spec for a tiny bit more

Just out of curiosity, what RAM did you go for?

Default My new custom rig.

Not sure on the make of the ram, its 800mhz. Someone in my old custom rig thread told me that the Processor would be bottlenecked with 667mhz, I listened

Problem though, i spent all day yesterday got everything correct but the motherboard does nothing.
I tryed the power supply with my old computer, that works.
I tried my old CPU ( pentium D ) with the new motherboard but it still doesn't boot up.

When i say boot up i mean, i plug the 24pin and 4pin in the motherboard and ofcourse everything else, turn the power supply on but nothing happens. Ive tryed connecting the NZXT case power button to it but still nothing.

I'm going to take the motherboard to a computer shop near me and pay a small price £5 to see if it is broken, he/she will probably just test it and see if it works or not.

If it works then i guess he/she is going to tell me what i did wrong

And if it doesn't back to microdirect it goes!

If anyone can help that'll be great
Have a good morning. (3:31am and im still trying to fix it)

Default My new custom rig.

ok so, i spent the WHOLE of yesterday building and re-building and the whole of this morning to come to nothing.

Then my friend came on and said " Oh you need to put the little Power switch on the case to the motherboard "

Long and behold the power came on and the fan started spinning ( on the power )

A whole day wasted but worthit

So now im just trying to figure out where the rest of the little case wires go on the motherboard and then i'll be done. Dam little wires

Yeah it will. The first time I tried to match them up however I found it very confusing, though after a few times it's just second nature
