2 Gig Corsair DDR533 ram
ECS KN3-SLi AM2 Deluxe motherboard

Artic cooling 3x 90mm rear fans, 1x 120mm Front fan,
coolmaster fan control module
Thermaltake Ram module cooler
Artic cooling frezzer pro 64 cpu cooler
Hiyper Type R 480w psu (running mobo, hdd's)
Maxtor 320gig Sata 16mb 10000rpm Hdd
Seagate Sata 160gig 8mb 7200rpm Hdd

room for improvment: get an athlon x2 6400+, get some low latency ddr2 800 ram, you probally need a better psu around 450w.

amd's are rubbish overclockers so dont bother

you might also want to concider getting a more moddern garphics card like the 8600 of 8800 series.

as for cooling it is more than ok!

I have to disagree with amd's being rubbish overclockers! I have mine running at 2.8Ghz from 2Ghz
And I know of people with 1.8Ghz Opterons running at 3Ghz+, in my eyes there is nothing wrong with those OC's
But I agree with you about the memory and GPU though

Nice psu, decent hdds, good opticals both, AC make some of the best case fans on the market. Best cpu hsf on the market. Good cost-effective sound card.

But why on earth two of that card?? You've got a true SLI board there (when two cards are installed the pci-e sockets don't revert to 8x) granted ECS have been able to make it cheaper by compromising on the capacitors a bit so I wouldn't recommend much oc'ing of the cpu.

That 'card' and it's spec's can barely make use of 128mb of ram. You'd be better binning/eating/burning them both and plumping for a 7900GT or a 8600GTS (the GT outperforms the GTS but the GTS is DX10 capable, also the 7900GTX is available for under a £100 now). Honestly, SLI barely makes any sense but it makes no sense with two (very) low end cards such as the 7300.

The board also supports upto DDR2 800mhz ram. This is very very cheap nowadays (Corsair XMS2 can be had for as little as £44 for 2x1gb dimms, and I've seen generic ram of the same speed even cheaper). That would help with gaming, and other duties.
