Yeah, for what you're getting. Also, the 7xx boards have overheating northbridges and SATA data corruption issues. Stick to Intel chipsets.

I would have to agree with Carbon. I have encountered countless issues with the Nvidia Motherboard Chipset. I hate to say this but The Nvidia motherboard chipset is not up to par with Intel. I would stick with Intel. That's just my two cents. Hope everything goes well with your setup.

Ye Ha......... The new system is up and running boys n girls, so far everything seems to be doing just fine. The only problem I have had so far is the case fan power cord just isnt quite long enuff to reach the correct place on the motherboard so I can use the fan controller, but for now I have it plugged into the PSU...

Too late to comment now but I will anyways lol.

Tardster: I wish I had "known" Carbon before I built this rig. I wouldn't have 2 9800GX2's, a 790i Ultra, 8 GB's of 1333 RAM or a Q9450. I WOULD have fewer headaches, at least 2000 dollars back in my pocket, and a system that runs great and doesn't crash on Crysis. I probably wouldn't have a thermaltake 1200W overpriced PSU either although I don't remember him commenting on my PSU. Oh well, live and learn.

He gives good, unbiased advise. He's neither an Nvidia "fan" nor an ATI "fan." He is a "fan" of whichever manufacturer is putting out the best card in it's class at the time you ask. That changes with circumstances. Same with his recommendations on MoBo's, RAM, PSU's ect............

EDIT: I missed page 2. Glad your system is up and running. Enjoy.

Hey its all good, I only paid $899 for the system from tiger direct so I dont think I paid to much fot it. No problems so far, I'm getting ready to install frontlines fuel of war on it and see how that goes. Will update further once I give it try with the game installed. Oh yea I almost forgot, I also have $120.00 in mail in rebates so it was only $779.
