The
Sandisk 12 in One Reader Sandisk 12 in One Reader
is a decent unit, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Sometimes Readers get bad reviews, when it's down "USER" problems or bad media.

I know some of the old ones dont handle the larger Cards too well, but as long as you keep to the newer Readers and stick to a well known make, from a decent supplier, you should be OK and if not you will be able to RMA it.

As to speed of reading & writing .... this is pretty much dependant on the Card(s) you use.

There's also a cheap
Kingston 19 in One Kingston 19 in One
unit that gets good reviews .... seems ok for the money, but I have no personal experience with this one.

No complaints with my internal reader:
http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/...6228&CatId=276
With SIM reader as well which is a nice touch.

Fully tested it (and it works) on XP PRO x86 & x64, Vista Ult. x64, Win7 Ult x64

So you should be safe whatever Windows OS!
