ok ok ... after asking people on msn who know about computers ... they say 1000w is to much ... .... so this is the last question i will ask on tis subject considering the answer to it is yes

will this
be my best bet for a psu ! ... i need it to be future proof
also will it be ok for any mobo also can i "tone" it down or isnt it possible to blow a computer by using a psu with to high wattage

I suppose 1000w is a bit of an overkill but if you want it future - proof for a very long while 1000w is your best choice.

The PSU 850w you have selected is only a 24pin so it won't work with every mobo but most of them.

There shouldn't be any blowing because the PSU will pull the energy when it needs it, its not going to continuously pump 850w (i don't think) thats why its an efficient PSU.

ok ... i am very easy to influence ... so is there any recomendations for an 850 watt psu that is sli certified ... good ... below 200 pound and made by a reliable company

Where would you like to buy the PSU from, SCAN?

If so i would suggest the Enermax 850w PSU.
