Thats a decent computer you have there, no probs gaming as long as you get a half decent graphics card. I'm not sure on your budget but an 8XXX or 9XXX series nVidia will see you through a lot on medium details. You have made a good purchase though, well done!

Don't forget where we are when Vista goes wrong though! haha, jokes!

Aha, I game on both the PS3 and PC. Well the RSX should be all the graphics you'll need for a while

Looking to buy a computer tommorow (boxing day) from PC World or Comet £400 is my budget. If you could recommend certain processors or computer brands it would be appreciated very much.
I wish that it is not too late to answer. The intel core 2 quad 6600 is far more better than the amd phenom, cause amd is well known for excessive heating and bursting the hardwares that's why intel processor and chipsets are high on cost.

I am really glad that you are not going for a wrecked one that is low on price and has intel x3100 in it.

And to make sure you really don't fall into one, you may wish to read it <LINK REMOVED>

kksona I have no idea what that link you keep posting is meant for but it's some sort of a redirect.

Post links directly to the site please. No affiliate or redirected links.

Alright then mr. Fantasy, the link was too long to post, so I shortened it. If you want that I post the full link, so be it.

This is my exp. with intel x3100 of a whole year and wanna warn all the friends who wish to buy a new laptop.

If you wanna remove it again, then do it happily I don't care.

When I checked the link it took me to a page that said the link was password protected.

The direct links aren't too long for our forums. Posting directly to a web site is fine.
