I currently have a pretty old eMachines computer right now and I'm thinking about buying pretty much all new parts for it right now to play modern games like call of duty, and assassins creed etc..

i need to know if its possible to upgrade everything or do i need to just get a new computer here are my specs...

Windows Xp Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3

eMachines T3256
AMD Athlon(tm) XP3200+
2.21GHz, 1.43GB of RAM

the only thing i upgraded so far was adding a GB of RAM and probably will add more but the guy said my computer can only handle 2 GB of it. Please Help

Nothing there is worth upgrading, read this, http://www.computer-juice.com/forums...posting-23819/ and toss the emachine.

Don't buy something, BUILD it.

1.43GB RAM... only an e-Machine..

I think, like Dell e-Machine's totally restrict you on what you can upgrade.

(Greedy b*st*rds just want you to buy a new one for them - = more cash - instead of getting something way better at a way lower price by building yourself.)
