Hi i bought and built my new pc about 4 months ago then about 1 week ago i turned on my pc and got no display on my screen so i tested the gfx card in another pc and it worked fine so i then sent back the motherboard and got a new replacement installed it yesterday and same thing no display on my screen, so today i tested my ram and gfx card in another pc and it was fine so i tried a new PSU in my pc but still nothing and i also tried putting a new processor in it but still nothing. It could just be my luck that the motherboard was not working when i got it yesterday but if you know of any ideas please tell, or if i should just return the motherboard again.

Thankyou for reading this please reply if you know anything or had same problem

Got to ask but you're sure you've connected all the power leads. I know you've had the gfx working on another m/c but are you 100% sure. If they are I would suspect it's the mobo. RMA?

yes i know all the leads are in and everything is connected and i also tried my tv which has a vga connector and i get no display on that either, i might just rma the mobo again but it sounds soo unlucky as it was brand new when i first built the pc it worked first time and had no problems what so ever then one day this happens im not too bothered it just as im still in warranty but its so frustrating not knowing what the problem is.
Thanks for looking anyway any more ideas please feel free to reply i will reply when i rma the mobo if it works.

I know this probably sounds crazy, but this actually happened to me once.

Same exact situation you're in, monitor doesn't work but everything else seems to be functioning correctly. This is when I started building my new PC. (I've actually got a forum up for it at the moment because I have a problem myself, but that's a whole other issue.) I built the PC and turned it on the first time. No video...

I read around the net for a few hours, and saw a suggestion to run bare-bone hardware in my system and see if it works. Meaning, any other PCI expansions (modem or sound card) needed to be removed to test it. Turns out my modem in my PCI slot was not allowing me to get an image on my monitor. Plugged up my old computer (now missing the broken modem) and it works fine. So now I have 2 good computers (well, my new one WILL be good soon enough) and the whole problem was one little PCI expansion. Worth a shot I guess? Hope this helps.

Thanks for that info but i dont have any other cards in any of the pci slots just my gfx.
I think i will take it to a computer shop someone said he can take a look at it for free so if it is the mobo i can just return.
Thanks for your help
