Default Need Help, Please. Any Legends Out There?

Right guys, fairly switched on, built a few PC's etc. I sold my old one last week on ebay, heres the item number:
110394433955Anyway i sent it last week and the new user said he was having problems, i had never had one problem with it. Basically the first time he started it up the monitor was showing no input, so i got him to read the led read out on the motherboard "50". Downloading the manual fault description said USB init. Anyway he had a fiddle now it has random connection problems with the usb mouse/keyboard and monitor. Heres his email to me:

Hi Jamie

We are still having probs with the USBs.

The mouse, keyboard and also the monitor keep disconnecting and re-connecting by themselves. Any ideas what we need to look at or any wiring we can check?

thanks

Mark Cunningham

Any ideas?

POST stuck on USB init is a sometimes recurring problem with nVidia 7 series motherboards, I assume that's what you've got. Check USB front-panel headers, try back panel inputs. Is the monitor 'disconnecting' with the normal Windows "da-dum" device-disconnection sound, or just turning off/receiving no signal? It's hard to troubleshoot without knowing what motherboard this is.
