Default Need a little help to build this pc reply needed ASAP

hey im having a problem i dont know what power connector to use for my processor it says in the psu manual that it has a 4+4 power connector but can be split do i use all 8 or just 4 for the q6600?...

You'll only need one 4-pin if not overclocking Cewy.

But I'd use both anyway simply for stability because your cpu may be pushed in certain app's and we don't now how stable your psu is.

ok so i can use both and it wont do any harm ? kool i just attached the header leads and now i need to attach....all the others.
now what do i need for my gfx ? 6 or 8 its an 8800 ultra

The Ultra should have 2 6-pin pci-e power connectors if I remember correctly.

And yes, you'll need both.

No, it won't do any harm. The voltage is regulated. Again, I'd recommend connecting both.

infact the psu came with a graphics lead already connected but the one connected has 6 and a 2 pin and the card has 2 6 pins do i need to take out the 6+2 connector and attach 2 6 pins?

Check your psu instructions for the 2 6-pin pci-e 12volt rails.

Connect these two leads to the card. The 6-pin plugs are of a a single type and will only fit a graphics card so you really can't go wrong.

Visually confirm the card does have 2 6-pin 12volt ports first though as I'm, again, not 100% sure.

yes it does have 2 six pin connectors and i have one 6pin coming from the module with the 2 pin hanging at the side not connected and another i plugged into the red 6 pin port on the psu, the manual says there only for pcie and not peripherals so i think im ok

ok so now its installed i see a little brow
n 3 pin connector along with the graphics card cable in the manual it says its for rpm fan detection but i cant tell the color

hmmm, the audio cable wont reach the slot on the motherboard at the bottom?
