| I have just bought an Acer T180 comp and all working fine except the speakers which I had with my old system. There is sound but the volume is very low even though I have set all volumes to max. The speakers came with my old comp and dont even have a brand name on them, but they were working perfectly before. Could it be the speakers or could it be the settings on the new machine? Help please? |

| If you have set all volumes to max in the audio properties (in control panel) and you can hear sound then id have to say its definitely your speakers, the PC would appear to be doing its job.

Good speakers are pretty cheap these days, ebuyer do some no non sense branded ones for around a tenner so it wouldn't cost much just to confirm it is them or not. Dave. My System: Hybr!d

| Well I tried some decent speakers from work with my new PC. The volume is now perfect, but when I tested it by listening to the radio, everyone sounds like a chipmunk! I was listening to Jonathan Ross and he sounded like a woman. Its strange, with the old speakers the volume was the only problem and now its the tone instead! Please help!!!!!!! |
