Default New Build

I'm thinking of having a pc built for me (because of lack of time to do it myself) by a company such as pc specialist or similar, the main use of this system will be home video and photo editing, I want it to be as powerful and as upgradable as possible.
I was considering a quad core cpu and want a reasonable gpu, plenty of memory hard drive space (2 of them), all of this in a case that is not too big and a 20/22in monitor.
If any of you out there has built such a system or knows what will do a great job, I would appreciate your help.
The maximum I would like to spend (to include everything keyboard, mouse, speakers etc. ) is £1200.
Thanks

Thanks for your spec for my new pc, just a few things though, as i'm going to be doing some video editing in hi-def is there any benefit in going for the 64bit vista and has that particular mobo got wi-fi built in ? and maybe this is the wrong section of the forum but does anyone know how much hard drive space i'll need for hi-def video editing ?

Its all down to how much you do. I bought a 750GB HDD because I do video editing. Alex has quoted two 500GB (or 1TB) hard drives which is more than enough.
