I am building my first PC and am having some problems...

I have connected the Motherboard, CPU, Memory, PSU, Monitor and a keyboard. I believe these are the minimum requirements for booting the PC?

I have tried booting it and although the fans turn and the Motherboard LED light is on I cant see BIOS on the screen, it stays blank.

I did notice that when I turn the PSU switch on the keyboard lights flash once but dont light up on when I hit the power button on the PC. Not sure if this indicates a problem?

The motherboard is http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Asus-M4A785D-M-PRO

CPU is http://www.ebuyer.com/product/168971

Memory is http://www.ebuyer.com/product/168971

PSU is http://www.ebuyer.com/product/102994

Please help!?

You're using a generic PSU with LEDs why?

Worked it out.... The 4 pin ATX power cable wasnt plugged in, oooops! Although, in my defence, the cable isnt long enough to reach the ATX socket when the PSU is screwed into place. Will buy a better PSU after work...
