Hi, I'm looking into buying this computer: http://sp.fujitsu-siemens.com/dmsp/d...dt-pi-3630.pdf Please can people answer me a few questions: 1) NVIDIA® nForce® 630i - Will this Mother board be able to support my current VGA monitor through the Mother Board until I can find a DVI monitor to use through the graphics card? 2) "2 DDR2 800 SD-RAM slots"; what speed will this mean the RAM run's at; providing it comes with the optimum RAM, which I think is PC-6400? ...any other thoughs please, things that stand out that would be problems for me etc. Thanks!

Unfortunately mate, it says in that PDF that a VGA adaptor is not included, I doubt the motherboard will come with one since the PC is sold with a graphics card. I'll look further into it though! DDR2 800 means the computer uses RAM modules in the DDR2 format at 800MHz. PC-6400 runs at 800 MHz which is the optimum it comes with. *Update* Looking at the PDF a bit more it says the rear panels dont have a VGA port unless you have an adaptor which is not included, you would have to buy one or wait for your new monitor, sorry mate!

Alright, no worries; I can wait for a new monitor. I was thinking it would be odd to have a VGA adaptor & a graphics card. I see the 9600GT has 2 DVI ports, so a normal DVI monitor would work fine? Re the RAM, it doesn't say it comes with PC-6400, but with a £599 PC would it be safe to assume it does?

Ypu can buy a VGA adaptor to make it use a DVI port as a VGA port, don't know where from though! Yeah, no problems at all. You can use 1 monitor or 2 monitors, hence the second DVI port Your PC will come with RAM, no worries there. All pre-built computers do! Looks like a pretty decent system to me, have fun with it!

I've seen adapters on Amazon, would this reduce quality? Do you think they'd provide PC-6400 RAM to use the 800mhz, or possibly something cheaper, maybe 667mhz?

They quality of VGA is lower anyway, to the naked eye you'll never notice the difference so dont worry about it. I'd say in that since it's designed for entertainment that it would be 800MHz but I'm not too sure. I'd say its safe to assume that it would be 800MHz. If you're planning to upgrade to 4Gb then you'd need 2 2Gb sticks of RAM which you would buy at 800MHz anyway lol
