Eventually i will overclock it but at the moment i just want to play crisis and bioshock on the highest setting i can.

ordering tommorow morning

That's fine, that motherboard isn't very good anyway.

P35-DS3L or P43-DS3L should be good.

I'd suggest one of these if you can get one.

Asus P5Q PRO

Really nice boards, well layed out, all the connectors in sensible places, look good and overclock really well.

I have used lots of them with no failures.

I was going by keeping with the P35 chip, but if you can spend the extra and get the P45, that would be better.

K gone with the Asus P5Q PRO

Im 50/50 if i should buy a monitor or run it through my 27" HD tv. It runs 1080i + 720P flawlessly and the 8450 has HD Output what you guys think i only like to play at 1024 x 768 anyway any more gives me a head ache

Gonna Defo order tommorow.

Good choice with the motherboard.

Why not try the TV first, then decide on the new monitor.
