Hi there, wonder if someone can help as i'm stumped!

A friends PC's USB ports no longer work - i think the ports have suspended when he was putting in and out a MP3 Player.

Difficulty is means no Keyboard or mouse working (Only USB Ports on this PC).

Can't use a boot disc as his PC requests "press any key to boot from disc" so i'm stumped.

Any ideas guys and girls?

Try and borrow a ps2 keyboard and mouse or get a usb - ps2 convertor to re-enable the ports either in the bios if it has been disabled there or in the windows device manager

I did take mine along (PS2 keyboard & Mouse), but thats the big issue, no PS2 ports! - So as the USB doesn't work I can't plug a keyboard in anywhere!

Buy a ps2 header card, they are quite cheap

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815124045

Just plug it into a spare pci slot and bobs your uncle, ps2 ports and a couple of extra usb ports just for good measure
