The power button on my tower has been a bit temperamental of late - getting stuck etc but no major probs. It gradually got worse the other day & didn't sound quite right on starting up. My son wanted to open it up - mainly to sort the power button, while doing so I decided to remove some of the thick layers of dust that had accumulated. When trying to restart the computer the monitor remains blank apart from the message "NO VIDEO INPUT". Not sure if I disturbed something while removing the dust or its connected to the power button (It has now got worse as I can still turn the power on but have to remove the power socket from the back of the tower to turn it off) Any help would be very much appreciated as I haven't a clue when it comes to this sort of thing!!
